CRITICAL EXPLANATION

Sound exegesis (meaning critical explanation or interpretation of a text) is the only way of making sure we are allowing God to speak rather than our speaking for God.  We must always insist that God’s Word be handled right so that we honor Him, His authority and His Word by hearing Him, for when we violate the rules of exegesis, we in essence force our words into His mouth.  Poor or errant exegesis means we will not be hearing what God has said, but will, to some extent, be garbling the message with man’s thoughts, man’s traditions, or other earthly substitutes for the divine essence of God’s truth. (Ref. Scripture Alone, James. White). Many preachers say, “Let the Bible Speak.” The Bible itself says,“ Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth” an instruction by Paul to Timothy. (2Tim 2:15). Every Christian minister or any preacher of the Word must do if he would make full proof of his ministry, and if he would be clear of the blood of his hearers at the last great day. How do we handle the Word of Truth correctly? One need insights and unders- tanding of the Holy Spirit. (John 14:26). Let Him take charge, believers listen. When the Holy Spirit shines His light on a text then we're able to properly analyze, accurately explain, and rightly apply the Scriptures. Here is where we to fully understand the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The Bible states, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believe unto righteou-ssness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Rom 10:9-10).  You may have heard these verses often. Do not be bored by it for it gives us the turning point in our lives. From carnal to eternal. The calling of relationship is opened in us, new life in Christ, and Salva- tion. Remember the only way to heaven is Jesus Christ. Confession should be made, living His life is always in the picture through His Spirit. Desire the Lord Jesus for without Him there is no heaven for you and me. Let’s trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not in our own understanding, in all our ways acknow- ledge Him and He will direct our paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6) Be wise, humble and surrendered to the Son of God, Live His Faith. Read the Bible and live righteous. Do exegesis, you will lhave peaceful and successful lives. Glory to the Lord Jesus. Amen
