EVERLASTING COVENANT

“ The blood of the Everlasting Covenant”  Hebrews 13:20

All God’s dealings with men have had a covenant or agreement character. God designed it to make an effective relationship with fallen mankind to be born again in Christ Name. He will not deal with us except through a covenant, (contract, treaty or pact).  Nor can we deal with Him except in the same manner.  Adam in the garden was under a covenant with God and God was in covenant with him.  The covenant Adam broke affected the whole of mankind. It is still present today with its terrible nature breaking into man. Surely God will fulfill its solemn threats and sanctions because of the failure.  He dealt with Noah, then Abraham, then David the man after His own heart  with covenant. He made covenant with His Anointed, Apostles and with you and me till this day. When He comes in all His terrors to condemn, He shall smite by covenant namely, by the sword of the covenant of Sinai, in flaming fire to those who do not believe the Gospel and those without Faith. The good news is, He can also come in the splendors of His Grace to save. Grace is given to us as gift. After we come to Him sensible of what He has already done for us.  Baptism and Communion are the two essentials left by Christ for us where we  acknowledge being a part of the Body of Christ .  Prayer is not effective without the Covenant of Grace. The newness of life is when God declared us to be His, and with His precious Blood He purchased us. With these covenants we know in faith we are His. These things can happen only with the Grace of God, Make sure of your covenant with God. Let the Holy Spirit lead.  Live in Grace and His calling. Be with Jesus always to live in peace and reconciled with God. Life will be joyous. Blessings
