Give the Lord Control

Why is it even we belong to God through faith of Christ, we still experience the same problems that bothered us before we were saved? Lack of confidence, pessimism creeps in and we spiral down to hopelessness. It may be small or big challenges. What do we do? There is nothing new under the sun. God addresses these problems in the Bible already the same way we experience it today. God knows problems and worries will be part of our life.  Jesus said, “In this world you will have troubles…Did God give us solutions to overcome? Yes! Thank You God. Let us read some of His promises. “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 “ It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” Deut 31:8 “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.” 2Tim 3:16-17 God declares both His ability and His willingness to be our strength and support; mentally, emotionally and spiritually. He willingly take everything that make threats to defeat us. He uses it for our benefit. He promise  “ to work all things together for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Even when some people doubt His ability, He still works for our good for His glory. He also promised that He will allow no trial to be so great we cannot bear it in the power of Christ and that He will provide a means of escape (1Cor 10:13). God’s promises are given motivations for Believers to hope for better things. Know these, God is not without feelings or do not care. He is our loving Father whose heart is tender toward His children. The Lord reveals to us through His Word, the Bible, that we can be of good “cheer,” and these we can through His Grace. God is huge, immensely substantial than all our worries and problems put together, and we must accept His Sovereignty if we are to have any victory with our lives. All humans suffer difficulties, flesh is overwhelming at times. We need to be in the solid ground of Christ. Live in the sufficiency of Grace given to us. Let us not think that all our problems are our fault, all our worries will come true, all our anger condemns us, far from it. Give it all to the Lord and accept His love.  Pray to Him in Christ Name. Read the His Word. Share to others. You walk with Jesus. Giving all to God is asking God to be our Lord and Savior. Live in Peace. Give the Lord the full control. Amen.

Be all blessed! Pastor Edpaul
