GOD IS TALKING - LISTEN

When I pray, I talk to God and when I read the Bible, He talks to me. Scriptures say, “Open my eyes to see the wonderful things of Your law.” You see, reading the Bible, studying, listening to Bible lectures, attending Bible classes give you hold of the Word of God. One example of God talking to you is shown in the Gospel in the Book of Matthew, “Then Jesus said to His followers, “And who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered, “You are blessed, Simon son of Jonah. No one taught you that. My Father in heaven showed you who I am”.  (Mat 16.15-17).  What is the significance of God talking to you? These will happen, He will make you understand the Truth, your life will turn from darkness to light, enemy has no more control over you because you are back to God, your sins are forgiven and you belong to God’s holy people. (Acts 26:18) And also God is giving the Spirit of wisdom and revelation of Himself. The Scripture says, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which He has called you, what are the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints,” (Acts 1:17-18). So let us live by continually praying and lifting to Him the good desires of our heart. Read the Bible.  Let’s His instruction of hope, “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this  is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit.” (1Thes 5:16-19) Let’s follow His will, talk to God in Christ, remember His blood shed on the cross of Calvary and have the works of the Holy Spirit direct you. Live in His Amazing Grace. God is talking, listen to Him and this time do. Be Blessed,
