God Of Peace

Why is it difficult for the mind to focus in Christ? Is there a way we can control our being to get the connection? The solution is Peace from God. The world we live in defines peace as serenity, tranquility, peace and quiet. The Bible gives the highest definition, distinct, and concluded definition. This is peace, “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Phil 4:7)  This is peace resulting from being in a right relationship with God  not the world. The world’s peace depends on having good favors, if things are going well, people feel peaceful; when things are bad, no peace. Jesus made it plausible to us saying, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives” (John 14:27). God’s peace is when we love Him, trust Him and are settled in His grace, goodness, willingness, and His ability to save us and help us. We have a new walk in life and our mind is settled Christ not in the world. Do you know the Peace of God goes with Holiness? These verses and many more gives us the understanding. “Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.” (Heb 12:14); “If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.” (Rom 12:18); “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” (Mat 5:9) Having the Peace of God inside us, it becomes dominating and will guard us despite the huge magnitude of our problems. Those outside of Christ will not understand that peace. “There is no peace for the wicked.” (Isaiah 48:22) Right relationship with God is the real peace we seek. The key is “no matter what” I trust the Lord. The Bible says, And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Rom 8:28  With these we can now focus in Christ. The peace He gives will not make our minds wander. We have the Holy Spirit, we have the Grace of God, the love of God these make things bright and beautiful for us. In Christ.
