GOD WORKS MORE

Just finished the Sunday message draft. Is there more to write? I walked again to the Bible wherever Spirit leads, wade through from Psalms, Proverbs to the Letters, Revelation. Go back to the message, review the closing, then opening, then summary.  This is how I sense God’s work in me, He works more. I grab it all in Faith. One good sense He wants us to remember “God gives more love to forgive our wrong.”  His exaltation says, “But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Rom 5:8) God did not bide His time for us to be acceptable but at once took measures to give our forgiveness through His Son Jesus Christ on the Cross shedding His blood.  His love is so awe-inspiring in all perspectives. The Bible expresses “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.”  (Eph 3:20) There is none like God. He can make you abound in all ways, His power reshapes us to be outstanding. He can structure exceptional things in your life. Excellent self-satisfying job, a close  knit family, destroying all temptations that impedes progress and be safe from the dangers of the world. God promises His multiplication of Grace. His Word says, “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.” (2 Cor 9:8) Grab hold of it. God works more than we are able. Human relies in mind that moves so fast in good things and bad things. It has the ability to make a person imagine to be from one place to another, one idea to one farther. Mind can give you impressions in holiness and unholiness. God draw His lines about it, “For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.” (Rom 6:5) Therefore as you listen to the Father, humbly dependent upon His Spirit__ do not be surprised when He brings to mind areas of your life that need to change.  Do not pick and choose what you want to hear.  Listen to and obey Him__ He is revealing these issues for your benefit and healing. If you refuse to hear His warnings, it could lead to ruin. The sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross has countless purpose, He is a Savior who speaks for your good. Accept whatever He says.  God knows more and works more than you do. Live in His Grace. Be blessed. Pastor Edpaul
