GODLY SERVING OTHERS

“For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” MARK 10:45  We learn from our Lord Jesus Christ regarding  His prolonged commitment to the Father, His Servanthood.  Even though He is God, Christ humbly submitted Himself to the Father and ministered to us.  Call to mind His life, the love, the healings and teachings. The time He touched your heart to accept His Lordship and with Grace conformed in His image. One lady FCC member always tells me, “I like to show the world Christ living in me.” We can know these by looking at ourselves daily in the light of the Gospel. God inspired Paul to write, “Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test! “2COR 13:5.  Not long talks. Just to remind others Jesus exist. Ninety percent always agree to the blessings. This gives me an approach to serve others credibly. Where do we get the things to give to others? Spending time with the Lord have many merits, love and infinite Grace. These are the genuine things we give to others. You can contribute to their lives with spiritual gifts, hope, and love leading them in accepting the Lord the Provider. How can these things be? Be always ready to give a helping hand, correcting things if you have the capacity to do and telling them what Grace has done in your life. Are you sensitive to the hurts, dreams and troubles of others? What is that one lesson to take away and be able to serve others? Let the world know you are with Christ.  Listen to the Holy Spirit within You, be avid in prayers, reading of the Bible and Evangelism. Be the Salt and Light to all. Flourish with peace and the truth of God.      Let it not be you who focuses on other’s faults and weaknesses. Instead, concentrate your efforts relating to them the love of God, the things He can do more and is willing to do without stopping. The final quest in serving God and others is your availability. Do you make time for others? Jesus taught that if a man is to find his life, he must lose it…(Mat 10:39). Give yourself, the way Jesus gives Himself to us. Be concerned always.  When you do, you will be conformed to His image.        Remember the nature of God’s care and leading His own, “For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” GAL 5:13. Trust God, share, serve others, In Christ, you will overcome. Amen Live in Grace.
