IMMANUEL "GOD WITH US"

The people who believe that Jesus is the Messiah are God’s children. They declare the Lord Jesus with their mouth and believe the Father has resurrected Him from the dead (Rom 10:9) Paul and Silas said to the guard who saw the power of God and asked them, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household.” Then Paul and Silas spoke the word of the Lord to him and to everyone in his house. ( Acts 16:31-32) Believers should do likewise for Jesus.  Anyone who loves the Father also loves the Father’s children. Believers show unity in spirit by loving one another. How do we know that we love God’s children? We know because we love God and we obey His commands. We obey by declaring Immanuel God with us. We live by it and the many promises of the Son of God Jesus. Faith is with us, Grace is our way of Salvation. Holy Spirit dwells in us representative of our renewed life in Christ. God gave Jesus as a way to forgive people’s sins through their faith in Him. God can forgive them because the blood sacrifice of Jesus pays for their sins. God gave Jesus to show that He always does what is right and fair. He was right in the past when He was patient and did not punish people for their sins. And in our own time He still does what is right. God worked all this out in a way that allows Him to judge people fairly and still make right any person who has faith in Jesus. Loving God means obeying His commands. And God’s commands are not too hard for us, because everyone who is a child of God has the power to win against the world. It is our Faith of Jesus that has won the victory against the world. So who wins against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Let’s rejoice in this season of Peace and Blessings. Faith of Christ Church gives Glory. Immanuel is Christ Jesus. Amen.
