LIVING IN GRACE
Declare belief in Christ by your action, holding the Bible seriously as Truth, the Word of God as inspiration & authority. Renew your mind by replacing your own authority concept with the Word of God. The following passages will give some guidelines in living in the gift of God called Grace. 1) Believers are saved by Grace not own works to gain salvation, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Eph 2:8-9 2) Grace has come, here with us now, “For the grace of God that bring salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, living soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.” Titus 2:11-12 3) Grace establishes the Law of Works, “Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: ye, we establish the law.” Rom 3:31 4) Grace moves us to do God's works in us, “But by the grace of God, I am what I am: and His grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.” 1Cor 15:10 5) Grace is sufficient, “And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2Cor 12:9 6) Grace gives us freedom, dominion of sin is done away, “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” Rom 6:14 7) Grace can make us draw near to God’s throne, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Heb 4:16 8) Grace is our justification “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” Rom 3:24 9) Grace helps us fulfill our purpose, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them”. Eph 2:10
