OBEDIENCE

The Bible says, “Be obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.” God wants us to hope more in the Grace of God. To be obedient children, to be wise and not ignorant about God. Love Him and obey Him “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.” 1John 5:3. Seeing life in God's Word results in obedience. We are challenged to be wise and fully understand God. Scripture says, “Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them; for the ways of the Lord are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them.” Hosea 14:9  Our Lord Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble, but be of good cheer I have overcome the world.” John 16:33. No matter what is happening in your life today, Jesus is Lord, He is Rest, He is friend.  Society clings to failures of the past and are not aware of God's amazing Grace and liberty of worry, anxiety and chaos.  Why?   It’s sad, many are disobedient to God, full of self righteousness  and have closed their heart to God. Scripture says, “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,  And changed the glory of the incorruptible  God into an image made like corruptible man, and  birds, and four footed beasts, and creeping things.” Rom 1:22-23  God got offended, “And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.” Rom 1:28   If  you are losing hope or doubting God, you have good things lined up in trusting Him. Read and remind yoursef of Gods’ promises. Go deeper in His Gospel. How He died for you and forgives your sins. You will have peace. When reality kicks in, God’s resources present itself. You will make Godly decisions in all things. Obedience becomes second nature.  Have Faith.  “And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek him.” Hebrews 11:6.  Amen. Be Blessed.
