RECOGNIZING GOD

God is the King of our hearts. Focus on God not earthly things. The Bible says, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” (1John 2:15). Our initiative as Believers is to be clever about God and be guided by His Spirit in the affairs of life. His Word is our guidance.  The Bible promise, “Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105)  To overcome the difficulties we confront daily, we have to renew our mind. Give our thoughts new subjects to think about. Let’s center all our thoughts about God. Think more of the other side.  It makes one become a good person, good in daily works or a good neighbor. Realize that there are dying souls around and Believers are not. We should not neglect them even if they live a careless or unconcerned ways.  They are asleep and need to be awakened. “Wherefore He saith, Awake you that sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give you light.” (Eph 5:14) They think of God and Salvation but they are not their uppermost thoughts, only secondary.  The Word says, “He who is our God is the God of salvation; and to God the Lord belong the issues from death.” (Psalm 68:20) Repent and return back to Jesus. He preached, and  said, “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Mat 4:17). Then Peter said unto them, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost”. (Acts 2:38) Life is total surrender to Christ, trusting and having faith in the Son of God. A true and complete life is in Christ. You become overcomer in all things. You are in peace.  Let us work as Believers in Christ to lead others back to our Lord. God is pleased with these act. Recognize God.  You will be victorious in all things. Amen.
