KNOW AND DO
We have passages in the Bible that is helpful in our daily living. Seeing the way of God to deal with the present situations gives peace, rest and increase in life doing good. Let’s learn from this passage in the Bible, “As Jesus was preaching to the crowds, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said, “Blessed is the womb that bore You, and blessed are the breasts that nursed You!” But He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the Word of God and obey it.” As the crowds were increasing, Jesus said, “This is a wicked generation. It demands a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah. Luke 11:28-29 What is the sign of Jonah? The "sign of Jonah" refers to a metaphor and prophecy of Jesus’s crucifixion, burial, and resurrection. Like Jonah spent three days in a fish, Jesus spent three days dead in a tomb, and then rose to new life. The Pharisees asked for signs, but Jesus's response indicated that the true sign would only be recognized after they crucified Him. (Ref. Christian Living) Let us know how to apply these passages in your daily life. Those who do are blessed. Why blessed? “Godly ways are blessed.“ The All Knowing and Powerful Gods search the heart to know man’s ways. The Bible says, “Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, for blessed are those who keep my ways.” (Proverbs 8:32.) Life is preserved by God. “He who keeps a commandment preserves his soul; but he who is careless in his ways will die. (Proverbs 19:16). 2 Cor 13:5 says, “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?” Repent and let God manage your life. Know and Do His will. He will prosper you. Amen. Be Blessed. Pastor Edpaul
