Babylon  is an organized idolatry against God and  followers. Having a false savior against Christ, false religion and economic systems. Many are influenced today, even the very elect. The good news is. all the leaders and followers of this systems will be put to an end and punished in hell. Let us declare Jesus is Lord the Son of God. Amen

 

PRAYER

Lord Holy and Reverend please help us understand your truth exposed today. Please guide us as we listen to your truth that gives hope in the present day. We know there is nothing new under the sun. Let your words sink in our heart and face the changes given by it.  You alone we asked for help, You alone we worship in Sprit and in Truth. Forgive us our iniquities as we forgive others. Holy Spirit fill us. All for Godds glory. In Jesus Name. Amen.

RELIGIOUS BABYLON  REV CHAP 17

The Word of God comes to us by God’s Word, written for us to know the Truth.

___We are warned of the dangerous times of end (2Tim 3) and the evil and persecutions, false christ and false prophets, works of wonders ever the very elect are decided. (Mat 24). The evil people with reprobate minds (Rom 1) crept in unawares in the gathering of the saints, clouds without water. (Jude 4)  Only Faith of Jesus Christ and Grace can save.

___Babylon part of the present day Iraq originated falsehood, lying, idolatry, deceit and persecutions of the followers of Christ.

___P.PBabylon religious  system and economic system came before the coming of Christ. A form of deception so when the true Christ comes a lot of confusion already exist.

So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.  REV 17:3-5

___ There are similarities with the Religious and Commercial Babylon. 

P/p___ Both are under the rule of the antichrist, having ruling queens, both are filled with blasphemy, both hate the saints and shed their blood

___ Both are associates with kings in fornication and both are under judgment and destroyed.

___ Good News, Destroyed.

 

The Mystery Babylon

Guilty of greed and self indulging

Destroyed by sudden act of God

___ Some have thought to rebuilt Babylon on the Euphrates River in the Middle East.  This is now a desolate desert in modern day Iraq.

 

___ Sadam Hussein has been outspoken in his desire to resurrect the ruined city of Babylon in all of its glory, He may in fact do this, and it is conceivable that a rebuild Babylon could be a world economic center, especially with the wealth of Mideast oil. This did not happen,

P/p___ The common move of this Commercial System is the control of  government, commerce and religion. This is what Christ called the World.

 

EXCESSIVE WEALTH

After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated from his glory. 2 And he cried out with a mighty voice, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird. 3 For all the nations have fallen because of the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed acts of sexual immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich from the ]excessive wealth of her luxury.” REV 18:1-2

 

THE WORLD

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

1JOHN 2:15-16

 

P/p___ This Is Commercial Babylon and is happening today. People have the love of money, greed, canned in worries and anxiety.

 

HOW WILL PEOPLE BREAK FREE?

COME OUT

I heard another voice from heaven, saying, “Come out of her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive any of her plagues; REV 18:4

 

ONCE STRONG

Standing at a distance because of the fear of her torment, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city! For in one hour your judgment has come. REV 18:10

BABYLON GONE

Then a strong angel picked up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “So will Babylon, the great city, be thrown down with violence, and will never be found again.

 

WILL THE FALL OF BABYLON HURT US?

___ We will only be hurt to the extent that we invest ourselves in the mentality of commercial Babylon. Babylons materialism and worldliness.

IN CLOSING

And do not be conformed to this [a]world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may [b]prove what the will of God is, that which is good and [c]acceptable and perfect. ROM 12:2

PRAYER

Lord there are things to do in this life we need to know. May Your Omniscience fill us so we can reason wisely. Let the bones which You have broken rejoice. Who can be against You? Forgive our weakness and timidity to shout to the world You Lord of Glory. You know our heart, character and frame. Help Lord, shine on us. All Your Glory. In Jesus Name Amen
