The Bible says, “Obey your parents for it is right.” This is where Love and Respect is given proper recognition. It promotes a climate of intimacy with God and Neighbor. Let’s receive what God says in the Bible.
WITH FAITH
PRAYER
Heavenly Father we are here because of Your love and compassion. You are Mighty, Sovereign and in control of everything. Goodness and Mercy You give. Help us to listen and understand the Message today. There is none like You. We worship You in Spririt and Truth. Give us the Spirit to hover this place. Fill us and heal us. Bless the Mothers today and all Women of Faith of Christ Church. In Jesus Name. Amen,
^^^^ Christians are to be a people of order and discipline, of righteousness and justice. We are to be dynamic examples of love and respect so that others may be won to Christ and be saved for eternity (Matthew 5:14–16). Part of living as examples of Christ before the watching world is showing love and respect to others.
^^^ Our existence is not a product of evolution or big bang theories. We are created beings from God.
^^^ Being aware of how it all started is confronting reality and displays mature attitude.
^^^ God reveals to us in the Scriptures how He created us with respect and love.
HE FORMED US
For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well of them. PSALM 139:13-14
^^^ During the consummation of Marriage, He was there. Marriage, Consumation and You.
^^^ Different situations with strong emotions involved in the union during the process, He was there
HE WAS THERE
My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. PSALM 139:15
^^^ God ensured this union is recorded from the time the mother conceive.
^^^ Done with the broadest discretion from God.
ALL RECORDED
Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none PSALM 139:16
^^^ Knowing well we are here not by accident we have positive tone in life about love and respect..
^^^ We have abundance of good interaction that produces Godly perspectives.
^^^ Love is magnified
LOVE
But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1COR 13:13
^^^ God’s nature, fruit of the Spirit, our responsibility.
DO ALL IN LOVE
Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. 14 Let all that you do be done in love. 1COR 16:13-14
^^^ Continually searching opportunities to give love.
HONOR
Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor ROM 12:10
^^^ Be truthful and display the truth of God.
FATHER AND MOM
Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with a promise), 3 so that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth. EPH 6:2-3
^^^ Set worthy goals of love and respect to receive the promises fo God, gives meaning to life in Christ.
LOVE EXPRESSED
Listen to your father who begot you,
And do not despise your mother when she is old PROV 23:22
^^^ All parents are flawed, God used them as tools, gave you DNA sure identity.
TRUST IN HIM
The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, And with my song I shall thank Him. PS 28:7
^^^ Seek God to have your priorities in proper sequence
GOD HAS PLANS
For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. JER 29:11
^^^ Have a strong mental preparation and affirm the plans to face the realities of life.
IN CLOSING
Not by Might nor Power but the Spirit of God we can do Love and Respect to others. Ask God for wisdom. Let’s excel in applying these teaching of God. Your will have peace, understanding and truth.
